Bernadette Lawrence is here with her CD TRY ROMANCE which is a delicious blend of Caribbean, Reggae and R&B rhythms that touches your heart/soul and makes you sing and dance.

Bernadette Lawrence has a dream to be recognized for her God-given talents - singing and writing songs. From the age of 4 or 5 she danced and sang with her brothers and sisters (7 brothers and 3 sisters) on a beautiful island in the Caribbean Sea called Dominique. She performed in school plays and dance companies and sang lead with the world renowned Swinging Stars Orchestra.

In New York she studied voice, dance and acting and performed in an Off-Broadway musical written by Edgar White and in plays by Sam Tate and Sullivan Walker.

As a member of the Ron Roche Caribbean Ensemble, Bernadette performed in the New York area in venues like Town Hall, the U.N. International School, and in Mexico and Barbados (at Carifesta).

The dream is still alive and the CD is called Romance. Bernadette has written seven of the songs and co-wrote Not A Game with Rod Clemmons, arranger and producer extraordinaire of the CD.

Listen and be inspired, dance and sing along with Bernadette.
